its actually really impressive how well it worked usually when people come up with a new form of something de novo from theory it sucks real hard. eg communism

and thats just because new things are hard to make and require testing. especially if you try to apply them socially new models are likely to fail I legit have way more sympathy for marx than anyone today who still thinks seizing the means of production is a really clever idea

my usual test of whether a science has any claim to Expert status is whether it can build something or fix something out of theory and you know what im willing to accept the founders as knowing something about government skeptical political science has moved forward since tho

So is this a postrat thing, the liberal application of the label 'autistic' to everything, especially to systems and attitudes? I've noticed it a lot and it's...still pretty weird.
