so theres a certain amount of consideration you have to give to the costs of accommodating any persons claimed trauma and also consideration of how likely it is that this trauma is genuine at all

"all trauma is fake and dumb" is not true although i respect people who dont want to pay accommodation costs "believe all people claiming trauma and accommodate them maximally" is turning yourself into a doormat and enabling sociopaths

generally i think we probably overaccommodate trauma now, vs probably underaccommodating it say thirty years ago iraq II may have been the turning point. a lot of people were coming back with diagnosed PTSD from eg seeing their friends killed or maimed by IEDs

The reason men ignore emotional trauma claims is because women as a general rule more emotionally intellectually evolved.

The reason someone who claims this as a big part of their story is such a huge liability is that they haven't internalized their own power to give someone else emotional leverage over them. Extremely dangerous person to be linked to.
