I can tell the difference and I don't know shit. I also met people that can tell what ingredients were used in sauce and I can't tell for the life of me.

once at an academic wine and cheese I told a professor that in a blind taste test, California wines placed first, then Australian wines, and then French, and Canadian wines just behind them he just looked at me like I was unbelievably stupid and walked away (in 80's)
