      To your point postrats may be at a relatively low energy state compared to rats. Potential energy collapsed, avalanche already happened & won’t fall again. Notably it doesn’t have hardcore central orgs and thought leaders like the rats did. Looser bonds, less strained more floppy

      notably "postrationalists" is not a community nor a scene like LW was, just people who used to go to LW but don't anymore, for a variety of reasons this is ok, LW served its purpose and dissipated, leaving an ecosystem of scenes growing like mushrooms on a dead body in a forest

      i dont think this is true the core here is literally people who were rats or adjacent, but theres been a lot of endogenous growth for some reason
