working from memory back when i built my current rig about a year ago. too many videos to remember which one but some nerd (bless their heart) actually measured. iirc the difference was negligible but also... what you should really do is get one of those passive cooling rigs.

I did consider it but also there's gonna be a liiiiittle noise from drive and CPU fan anyway, and 30db is pretty negligible all told 200mm fan is hi quality passive cooling isnt bad though

it's so cool, though. dead silent, weird cuts into it to disperse heat. looks nice, complements the decor. i'd do it if i don't need performance for a build.
