When I was a senior in highschool, part of my humanities class that year was we had to help teach either reading or writing to a class at the near by elementary school. Anywho, when they had to take tests I got to help a pre- k class. I learned 4 year olds are cute

I would wager that the gross dolls being the early point of contact with "babies" (specially as more kids than ever are only children) is a deterrent for long term fertility. I do believe that it also fails to deter teen pregnancy, over 90% of which is accidental, anyway.
