LinkedIn has advanced search features that paying members can access If you're using free/casual search, you're probably not seeing the same thing that recruiters see when searching

Wouldn’t be surprised if there are companies that scrape data and sell in batches to recruiters. Maybe yours got scooped up before you disabled

pretty plausible to me, but odd that they would be just sending recruiting emails now gosh i hope its not that they know something i dont

Some firms save your info in a database and have a recruiter reach out every 6 months or so. Recruiters are not supposed to take a copy of that when leaving, but they do. I still get emails about very specific things I was doing 15 years ago, and I'm in a different industry now.
