i legitimately do not care what people purport to believe in their heart of hearts as long as they are polite and interesting and arguing about whether so and so is fascist is a good way to destroy a social circle

I generally agree, but when someone in the circle seems to question the basic value and humanity of other people beings in the circle, that's just not a state that can long exist. I'll talk politely with anyone, but I'm not going to disavow my basic moral principles either.

I deeply relate to what you’re saying here, but it’s not like we have to establish a policy and then stick to it, we can just eject vocal fascists on an ad-hoc basis when they get too annoying
