not sure who needs to hear this eating at a large calorie deficit *in my experience* is hardest for the first week. after i push through this tapering your calories its pretty easy to keep up large negative caloric balances

the same is true for intermittent fasting (with the same caveats). i’ve been doing that 3-days a week for 15 years now. sometimes i have work sprints and i skip, the 1) always pleased to find the routine is easy to get into again and 2) um...my brain works better on them
