i was legitimately surprised by how aggressively china has attempted to strongarm australia, and how long this has been occurring i was also heartened to hear that australia has responded with fortitude (im not sure what i had expected)

the question of what Chinese hegemony would look like in subject countries gets some play here. i guess no surprises. we also hit cover technical issues related to treaties and diplomacy that were beyond the range of what I'd understood previously, and this was quite valuable

I was also concerned about the sound initially. I don't know if it got better or if I just got used to it–or distracted enough by peeling and chopping, but it didn't bother me after a while. It is an interesting conversion.
