the main thing is just not eating that much, being really deliberate about portion control and then having a ton of protein via whey and meat and going on walks as often as possible, and to the gym 3/wk

walks are really nice because they don't interfere with recovery from weights much, and if you have the time to take them you can go for an hour without much difficulty which adds up to a lot of fat burned over time
