it would be hard for me not to intervene though, if I saw someone being assaulted. probably even today. idk what to do about this.

I thought violence interrupters were something different, like people familiar with neighborhood factions/dynamics who are paid to diffuse gang tensions before they get violent, not good Samaritans. The latter is a good topic but I dunno about Wesley's framing of this.
