based on what I have read I would have believed it if the vaccine took several generations to take effect. or if it worked retroactively absolute spaghetti logic in there. biology is creepy.

It's not a mystery cult! You just have to take it slow and read it four or five times- ok sometimes it's a little convoluted.

it is a mystery cult and that's why everything gets a cult nickname (e.g., "platelet-derived growth factor receptor" [cromulent, informative] becomes "cluster of differentiation 140" [opaque, content-free] when you move from cell biology to immunology)

anyways idk if 'professional deformation' is a common term in English but I keep thinking a big part of my skepticism you can just wing things with intuition is being a biologist lol even the certain stuff can be counterintuitive but you trust it coz math checks out
