1. shave with a doubled edged safety razor (merkur base, feather razors) vastly cheaper than gilette trillion blade razors. more elegant. also works like a dream https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B002A8JO48/ …

2. rarely wash my jeans. maybe once a month or less, unless they get dirty. there is an entire art for how to wash jeans. never wash with soap, only on cold. hang dry. your jeans will last years in this manner and keep their shape and color (good)

3. hang dry all my clothes. you can get a rack and just put it up in your apartment. dryers are terrible for clothes and cause them to fall apart vastly more quickly than necessary. stop doing this unless you have to http://amazon.com/gp/product/B00KQU1C60/ …

i agree with this but how do you handle large blankets, towels, bed linens that take up so much space + dry time unless you have a legit clothesline setup (which implies the access to personal outdoor space)

even if you don't have a solution, i guess i'm just wondering if dryer damage done to linens/blankets/towels is even noticeable enough to put in the effort to hang dry

oh yeah. bigger stuff is hopeless without a clothesline; I just feed that into the dryer on delicate.
