Daily routines are extremely hard to change! You can only do it if you are always aware of your surroundings and never absentminded or daydreamy. I still sometimes leave my house without my shoes on, what do you want from me??!

It also doesn't work with self checkouts because you need it to leave the store.

In NL it's automated and you need to scan your receipt to open the gate to let yo leave. It's called having a minimum wage.

We have modern urbanization. We've been an immigrant society for over 50 years with a higher percentage of foreign born than the USA now. We have open borders all the way till Belarus. High trust is not on the way up lol.
