yeah mankiw is probably fine. a localized version might be best, although if you're even passing familiar with US history it's probably fine

I have already read a few pages of Mankiw. Should I just assume that everything is just like 50% fake or something? One of the ten principals of economics Mankiw mentions is the Phillips curve and when I googled that I found out that the Fed abandoned that a few months ago

its complicated the fed does not always operate on bleeding edge theory although depending on how he is presenting it it may have been rejected in like 1973
