figured something out tonight guys know how you can get good at anything just by paying attention to it turns out how you speak falls into that class of things

anyway I just spent a half hour car ride with

Does concentrating on what you're saying get rid of the sense that your brain isn't keeping up with your mouth? Because I experience disfluencies as my mouth trying to give my brain time to catch up.

yes there is definitely a bandwidth issue that crops up at first i apparently initially compensated by simply using more words i think I'd gotten better about this by the end of the car ride

i think so--or just practice in producing it more quickly felt kind of like stretching before a panel of exercises and running through them less stiffly
