The way people abandon anti-authoritarianism the microsecond it becomes convenient due to the conditions of some petty political conflict is pretty depressing, doubly so when those same people will rant all day about the oppressiveness of progressive society.

Shit like "laser pointers are deadly weapons" is why leftists can still get away with calling libertarians fascists despite the fact that thousands of libertarians actually stuck with their principles and spent much of last summer fighting with cops on everybody else's behalf.
