Who else thinks the Twitter would be vastly improved by the removal of anonymous accounts? If they won’t do that, could they at least give us a setting to auto-block anonymous accounts. It would get rid of 90% of the disinformation and hate at a stroke.

I am not an anonymous account. I would get my name changed if I had the means. https://www.linkedin.com/in/ultimape/ But I have no way to verify my identity to twitter so this would probably just get my account removed. And everyone homeless, unable to get photo IDs, and trans people.

I got my job because of my time on twitter and I am no longer homeless. I contemplated suicide at one point because twitter banned me for tweeting a link to my own writing on medium. Your proposal is a direct attack against me and people like me.

I couldn't get on disability despite diagnosis for autism and major depression. My life is beyond dysfunctional. Sometimes I wake up and don't know where I am. It turns out I probably inherited Multiple Sclerosis. Twitter is way I was able to get support.https://twitter.com/David_K_Clark/status/1114822831353810944 …

David Clark @David_K_ClarkThis is absolutely heartbreaking. The treatment of people with autism is a stain on our society. So much ignorance, prejudice and neglect. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6894571/Autistic-children-enduring-inhuman-cruelty-State-care.html?ito=amp_twitter_share-top … via@MailOnline2 replies 0 retweets 1 like
