Because of this you roll into your 20's and whoever you identify as an authority figure (YOUR authority figure, who you feel is an authority to YOU) you just believe shit they say. You've been taught your whole life to do this, why would you stop now?

I mean, this sucks. It feels bad. No one wants to think of themselves this way. But it's true man. It just is. They made you this way as a kid. Anyway, some people grow out of it, most don't.

Point is, I hear you. I know you FEEL like you have to have an opinion about the rebel flag. The real truth though is that you don't, *even though you feel like you do*. Your feelings are incongruous with reality. It's just hard to see because you've (probably) never done it.

I know what you're trying to get at and it has absolutely *nothing* to do with what I actually MEANT. You're absolutely correct on authority figures there, and it's the reason why I have an opinion on that shit: American authority doesn't *let* overseas proles not have one.

We have to have an opinion on America's failings. It impacts our lives. America leads the dance and we have to follow it whether we want to or not:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rr8ljRgcJNM …
