it's close enough to plausible that a person with deep precommitments to the ideology might even take it, but they should not. tricking people into wild counterfactual reasoning and imaginary scenarios is...um...hmm...is this

ok so if you do it with statistics and RCTs its public health policy, whereas if you do it with statistics and linear regressions it's economics.
