wow, this is fascinating. I cannot detect anything beside slightly chilled friendliness and am now researching midwest/MN nice on YouTube Is it just that the "being nice" in general is dialed up a few stops so that "slightly chilled" means "I want you and your family to suffer"?

well, I'm a programmer, so I definitely am somewhere on the spectrum. Just… _where_ on the spectrum seems to vary anyhow and then, yeah, examples like this come along and force you to make a sober adjustment.
