And I quote: "On average, social trust is lower in more ethnically diverse contexts. However, the rather modest size of the difference implies that apocalyptic claims regarding the severe threat of ethnic diversity for social trust in contemporary societies are exaggerated."

That statement's in the conclusion because it's _normative_, not empirical. What makes it a "modest" effect size? Compared to what other features? What is the marginal effect of decreasing trust on violence, etc? They don't say, but it's nice they ended on a happy note.

You quoted the paper. Why don't you show us the effect size in it? Have they accounted for racists such as yourself in the population? Or is that part of the diversity effect.

Well, for one thing, the results of that paper have been known and accepted in Left-liberal circles since literally Putnam. For example, I'm losing half a million dollars and my career deciding that Armenians murder too many people and I have to leave NYC.

That paper shows a small non cumulative relationship, falsifying claims about diversity causing mass trust issues and conflict, like how racists claim. Also its still just a correlation, not cause. They didn't account for you racist people either. Big deal to leave that out.

But leaving that out is expected because of racism.

you start off with reasonable objections that can be addressed and then you just veer into "and also you my interlocutor are a Racist which is what this conversation is really about" which is both insane and a level of discourse appropriate for children
