yeah i guess US, oxbridge, or elite euro unis like eth zurich for college for grade school idk but i think a lot go to international schools, or sometimes there are indigenous elite private schools

Speaking for Russian elites: they want US citizenship for children, Europe for private schooling, US/Europe for higher education.

at least in china i think this is true my international chinese roommate in freshman year of uni told me that if you couldn't make it into the top 1-2 chinese schools, it was best to just go to US schools

I think mostly not for developed countries, except at PhD level where the best schools tend to be in the US

good % in India likes to study & work over there at some point though citizenship or even GC is not that much of a priority among the super rich; they generally return to run their family 'biz many folk in finance, tech often return (now) or move closer to places like Singapore

for a lot of people the question of school in the UK or US is mainly at the postgrad level even if they can foot the bill for UG It's a bit different from say - folk from Russia or China who have often decided on arrival that this is going to be home for the rest of their life
