Schelling is always a good read; it will become clear how structure is an emergent property in the game theoretic/ (economic) rationalist perspective. I find it very useful as formalization but theoretically I'm not a rationalist.

Hey wait a second, don't Pointsman and Mexico specifically have two competing views about history? Based on your old Twitter bio I assume you are on Roger Mexico's side?

Pointsman only calls Mexico an enemy of cause and effect because he can't see between the 0 and the 1. A problem with structural theorists in the past but Pointsman is a the Pavlovian---fits with agent or structure.

I'm kind of grasping at a subject that envelops all these kind of questions but I'm struggling to even know exactly what I'm even looking for and what kind of literature is talking about it. Where will I find my answers?

How can I get a gf if I couldn't even explain the nature of causality in history to her? Don't they expect that from me on a first date?
