There was an incident in my city a while back where a police officer shot a knife wielding junkie in the leg from maybe 15m distance at 3 o’clock am in a pretty poorly lit area between 50m apart standing lanterns. Impressive as hell if u think about it. The junkie survived btw

There were 2 other cops on patrol with him, but still, the number of trained shooters able to take such a shot with a pistol at night is rather small.
