One can believe contracts are good/useful without believing a given contract, or form of contract, is good (for you/society/others). (Disclaimer, I am not poly*, deontological or otherwise.)

I find contracts useful, if annoying in the "dealing with the devil" kind of way. They are an attempt to formalize informed consent, etc. However, in practice, many contracts are indefensibly abusive in some way or another.
