its probably easier to explain where money CANNOT solve problems than where it can specifically one cannot directly purchase status, affection, charm, satisfaction, or renown even using money as a lever for these things is very dicey

"I want to buy X to solve problem Y which will get me one of the items from the above list" often works "I want to buy X which will impart one of the items listed above" almost never does
