mmm.. I don't think it has to do with personality so much as with socioeconomic factors, and at least in my experience it's not discussed in the context of identifying with weaknesses but rather just recognizing that they exist

people typically know they exist and dont talk directly about it because its rude to make others weaknesses explicit
