In Finland they have pine tar flavoured ice cream, which is not bad. It resembles rum-raisin, minus raisin and plus smoke.

I never did. My first rosin came with a used violin, so it already had a deep groove and did not look the least bit appetizing.

I’ve made spruce beer. Not bad but it’s easy to overdo the spruce tips. I used to play string bass, and the bow rosin looks tasty — but a block of similar-looking slightly-caramelized sugar is much better to eat.
