during tonight’s pathfinder session my players decided to lie to the sheriff to bust a necromancer out of prison so they could pull a suicide squad scheme and use him to fight ghouls

so they had to weave this web of lies to make the town guard believe one thing and the necromancer another the best part was that the whole thing was completely pointless because he wasn’t even useful in combat

tbh i made the NPCs involved entirely too credulous and i probably could have pushed back more, but i want my players to have some freedom to do weird shit and maybe the necromancer will return later in the adventure to make things more interesting...
