Their and other mega corps (such as Wal-Mart) stocks are through the roof while small/ middling businesses are failing. The idea is that they're in bed with lobbyists and politicians and using the pandemic as a power play to decimate the middle class.

Their rhetoric and overall actions are in line with the most authoritarian approaches to the pandemic- they talk themselves up as heros of the pandemic in their advertising.

banking is massively competitive, online retail is visible but still outcompeted by brick and mortar (compare walmart and Amazon market cap), amazon is a platform for resellers, antitrust is a matter abt consumer surplus
