there is some upfront credentialism for getting an interview I think but like i had a DS phone screen at a fortune 100 company and they asked me to explain what a p-value was screener told me at the end that I was the first to get this after 25 failed attempts by others

Thank you. Maybe next year when the Chilean government gives me the permanent residency status and I can safely start thinking about changing jobs

chile might be tricky, I think we mostly hire in the US that said feel free to ask openly for referrals, we're often incentivized to make them--i think I get $5k if anyone I refer is hired for a technical role
