so there might be more different ways for men to be broadly attractive than there are for women, but this doesn't make individual men better off bc zero sum.

but one gender cannot be more successful on average / on aggregate in dating than another gender, that's some lake wobegon stuff every act of hetero romance counts equally for both sides the distribution of romance can be different (much more lopsided for men)

hahahahaha, same. compulsory heterosexuality/internalised homophobia hit me hard growing up, and now I feel like I don’t know how to change or exist outside those norms dw I’m definitely attracted to men, I just think they are on average less interesting & less good-looking!
