Reading about his background (ecology) one could make an interesting comparison to Spengler using Goethe’s plant theories, morphology as inspiration for his model. Of course, modern ecology is completely different. But makes sense that the natural world inspires cyclical models.

Plus the democrats are also politically allied with plenty of worse off demographics, just looking at the data I wonder if there’s a substantial way Trump’s movement is more ‘allied with the common people’. I guess the white non-college educated vote is def a key demo. for him.
