So far the only people claiming the outcome will be fraudulent are Republicans, with Democrats decrying what they see as egregious interference and suppression.

I strongly suspect that a lot of this is a result of long-ish term stability. No one in power really understands what root level instability looks like. No one in the ruling class has seen their family members disappeared because due process became a joke.
