heres the deal jack alot of the time ppl want to interact with you in a manner that you dont want to be interacted with a thing to do in those cases is to simply not respond in the way that their desired script prescribes practice a bit you will be amazed how well it works

I learned in retail that you don’t have to have the conversation the customer wants to have. You just kind of have your preferred convo at them. They want to negotiate things, and by arguing for your position, you legitimize that. Just gotta ignore

They also want to talk to you as if they’re your boss, which they aren’t. You offer them certain services, but you aren’t employed by them. So you don’t have to answer all their questions, etc
