Any kind of tech should understand that they are going to have patients that are curious or interested in the methods and technology they use. Any tech should have both the knowledge and passion to happily explain these things in layman's terms. Sorry you got a bad tech. :(

it's ok! mostly just hope she's all right on reflection :) and of course not judging the role generally, I think it was jarring especially because everyone else we've interacted with has been so friendly
