but because I'm stupid let me spell it out for you: demanding that people conceptualize homosexuality in psuedo-essentialist terms because it serves your political purposes is dumb & it's actually fine if some people believe that continence is both possible & praiseworthy

Personally, I think it would be cool if it didn't matter in any legal sense if homosexuality is a choice or an essential trait. Clearly it could matter in a theological sense, but I guess this is also the tweet where I confess to not being an integralist.
