there is a certain I think an important skill for either (any?) flavor of charisma is not pushing yourself into someone else's social space, but rather inviting them into yours . . . I think anyway, I think one can do that quietly, or at a high volume hm

yeah i think that's exactly it! i'm having trouble understanding the high volume version now despite it being the more obvious type of charisma. maybe bc i feel like i've been finding a lot of people quietly charismatic lately and it's been surprising?

that’s interesting. I’ve always thought of myself as really socially awkward, so in the last few years I’ve just made an effort to role with it, and find out how to have my own kind of conversation style through trail and error.

putting "friendly" in your bio probably helps its good to make a public commitment to this i think :)
