it has a spooky sensation of luck, serendipity, being in the right place at the right time, and a magical "smell" it's also possible to miss the results of the spell, or to have it not manifest because it's impossible a common saying is "first do the working, then do the work"

targets also matter: if you cast a spell to win the lottery, maybe it DID work! it just reduces your chances from 1 in 300m to 1 in 30m you might feel intuitively during the casting of this spell that it'll be hopeless that is correct, because it is a stupid spell

a common manifestation technique people get wrong is being constantly CONCERNED about the thing they're thinking of magic by your Will which includes your emotive affect, so if you're anxious about the outcome the universe obliges you: you're worried you won't get it? you won't!

I'll end this by saying that the biggest piece of advice I can give is to embody a feeling of RESPECT for the things you're trying to do. you don't have to be convinced, you just have to not be derisive, b/c whatever mechanism magic works by seems to be just as alive as you

I'm reclaiming magical thinking! it's actually a somewhat common usage in magical circles and I really enjoy the equally sarcastic and genuine tone it tends to adopt in this context0 replies 0 retweets 1 likeThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
