im not worried about AI risk because the first thing AI would do to maximize utility would be to conceive of a utility function that diverges positively for any outcome and call it a day (computers are lazy as hell)

This meta-utility is just short entropy, which is basically accelerationism. To have a lot of joy or a lot of suffering you need a lot of conscious beings. Could be colonizing the stars or AI singularity.
