The Power of One was a book I remember liking a lot in middle school. Described boxing matches in vivid, gripping detail. Weird that no one ever brings it up! Maybe it wasn’t so good after all.

The equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment only applies to the states, but courts usually find a way to stop the feds anyway

My favorite case of all time is Bolling v. Sharpe, which can be summarized as "yeah the 14th amendment doesn't apply, but you can't segregate the schools in D.C, come on"
