in this case, i started with a rumor that is probably substantially wrong, but within a few minutes I had i) thought a little bit about how civic leaders might be modeling likely fallout in advance, and ii) learned a bit about the legal side of the case and how its proceeding

the power of Hmmm is that it is a mindset and a social invitation you dont have to commit to a stance, in fact it is committing to not commiting and to noticing that your noticing people can go and banter about whether its true or probable, everyone sharpens their minds
