hmm finding myself interested in how pistols and violence work in practice may collect videos here, they're kind of upsetting content so recommend not clicking through if you want to avoid thathttps://twitter.com/mollyfprince/status/1302256464740917248 …

What are you curious about. This is like one of the few things I know anything about.

Obviously not the same as gun violence, but have you done any boxing or jiu jitsu?

Assuming you guys did full sparring, you know what getting controlled and tossed feels like. Which is also violence, if gentle. Some people have never been in an altercation or any sort and they panic when they feel another person’s weight on them.

(Consider BJJ instead. A lot of the standup stuff is pure judo, but the newaza is obviously much more fully developed.)

I absolutely love jiu-jitsu. If you think you'll get into it after COVID, I'd recommend building a bit of muscle beforehand if you don't have that yet. It'll somewhat function as armor, making common injuries uncommon for you.https://twitter.com/vraiqeth/status/1294482263237943296 …

vrai @vraiqethReplying to @clairlemonBrazilian jiu-jitsu is great: 1.) No posturing—clear winners and losers, 2.) No strikes involved—emotions are in check, 3.) Physical contact, 4.) Strategy is rewarded (great for nerds), 5.) Best opponents are best teachers, 6.) Anaerobic AND aerobic, 7.) Extremely challenging.1 reply 0 retweets 2 likes - Show replies
