But Dems and media seem so heavily indexed in social justice at that point that they probably have internal constraints on condemning riots and pulling political cover without some external forcing function idk I'm buying supplies and enjoying a pleasant summer evening

The forcing function seems to be swing state polling and Trump having the highest approval rating ever. It's one thing to laugh as our cities burn, it's another thing if Trump wins and Biden can't bail them out.
