I've probably read at least 2 dozen therapy, meditation etc books over the last few years and that is why I never pay money for them until after I've read them

a very small number of them are worth nearly every word a slightly larger number are worth, well, more than half of the words in them the vast majority of them are worth almost nothing -- could have been condensed to a tweet, a blog post, a flyer you throw into the garbage

as further evidence I should also mention that when I was 12 and lonely I read nearly the entire self-help and self-improvement section of the library in hopes of learning to make friends and Be Cool this does not change my opinion at all
