one thing I am looking forward to with the election is that no matter what it will break a lot of people or rather reveal that they are broken, that their lives have been wasted as the old adage goes, the tide will go out and many will be found to have been swimming naked

Totally, this is like dark data collection of out group. I’d genuinely like to hear an emotional rather than “rational” response from conservatives. How does universal healthcare make you feel?
-
Response would probably be, “it makes me feel great, but how exactly do you propose to pay for it?” (I’m pro universal healthcare, and even think it’s probably cheaper in the long run, but that’s certainly the response of my bright empathetic conservative friends)

That’s the goal. I’d like to understand more of the outgroup model. Having trouble finding good non one liner 80s action flick responses, tuned to Q channels on logic trains in head on collision with fascism. Is there a rational for conservative thought? I feel too far left.

I’d recommend watching legal debates. You can find plenty of them online. It can give you a window into serious legal thought stacked up against the best counter arguments.
