generally seems like: things like free speech are sort of protected in the us but cps is a backdoor with incredible latitude kids are a lever for government control I expect this will only become more true over time and it will be ugly as hell

maybe thinking that a state thats not built around families must be fundamentally opposed to them stronger ties than law can dictate, unregulated, highly variegated v inconvenient a smart state would facilitate families as a source of strength most states are not smart
