all I know is I have a bachelors and nobody is looking to hire me. I’m not looking forward to grinding through grad school but I feel pretty limited wrt my options and I keep seeing people w phds (or rough equivalents) talking about how nobody need them and it’s frustrating tbh

I did MSc in a CS related field. The education was crap, but the connections landed me a good job. Now I'm in a PhD program studying something that doesn't feel very marketable. Again, I think the connections I make are going to be more valuable than my actual work and education

Tldr: you don't need grad school. But if you need to bootstrap a network, maybe you need some grad school )?)
